One day I had visited my Granny’s home and I found my mom’s diary and I started to read… She started writing diary when she was final year degree student…. In that diary she wrote about her friends and all…. Next part was after her degree…. She joined a work as teacher…
At that time my moms family background was very poor…. She had to walk 5 km to catch a bus and that bus was travelled to main town where my moms school was located….. The bus was limited…. They had bus at 7am, 9am, 11 am, 2pm, 5pm and 7 pm…. Always she used to come in 5 pm bus in evening and reached home about 6pm…..
One day she had some events in college and she came in 7 pm bus…. She waited in bus stop for some time because any of her neighbors or friends who will go in the way of her home will drop her…. But no one was there…. No phones and nothing…. It was 7:30 and my mom decided to walk to our home…. She had to walk 5kms that too on a road which was surrounded by forest…. That road had a bridge, near that bridge a truck was spoiled before years ago still left there….. When mom was walking near the bridge she saw two people inside the cabin of the truck drinking alcohol….. She was feared for a while and walked near the truck and passed from that truck…. The two guys called my mom from the truck and mom was feared but she had no other way, so she went near them and asked what you want…. The two guys were checking out mom by their eyes….
My mom was 27 at that time and was beautiful women with fair complexion, nice body structure, and a cute face…. The guys asked my mom where they will get cigarettes…. Mom replied I don’t know…. So again they asked about my mom’s job and all thing, she explained to them….. One of the guy asked my mom “will you stay here for one night, we’ll show you paradise”…. Mom got to know what they are talking about, so she started to run but one guy caught her saree pallu and pulled it…. Mom didn’t lose hopes and despite her saree pallu was gone, she started to run away from that two guys…. The two guys also chasing my mom in the road….. Suddenly a car came and stopped near my mom…. It was mom’s neighbour Praveen, he was old man and my mom’s father’s age…. He was rich in the locality, he was returning from the town to his home…… He saw my mom very shockingly and asked my mom “why are u running, where’s your pallu”…. Mom said “please open the door, I’ll tell u what happened, but please let’s go away from here”… She sat on car and explained Praveen all the things happened….. But Praveen said “no one was on your behind when you were running”… Mom said how’s this possible… Then Praveen confronted my mom and took Mom to his home and gave a new saree to my mom, and said not to tell anyone what happened today…. Next day mom went home saying some reasons……
I closed the diary and thinking how is this possible….. So I made some research and asked local people about that truck…. But no one knew what happened with the truck because it happened long ago, new generation people don’t know about that….. I was thinking of letting this plan to go….. Finally I got a old man in that locality who was drinking alcohol in his small hut which was in middle of forest….. He was too old and he looked like a spiritual person and had some thick beedi in his hand…. And I thought to ask with him about this thing….. I asked him what happened to that truck near the bridge…. So he told that before thirty years two guys were doing job in this truck, they used to up and down in that same way daily…. They usually stopped their truck near that bridge and used to booze and smoke cigarettes… One day a girl was walking alone in that road while they were boozing in truck…. They saw the girl and started to chase her and finally caught her and bought her to truck and when they are about to spoil that girl, 4 people of the village came and saved the girl and tied the guys in the truck and all villagers burnt them alive in the truck….
The old man gave a look at me and asked me why….. So I explained all the things happened with my mom before many years ago….. So he said “your mom is so lucky, if that guy didn’t come in car that day, that two guys spirit would have spoiled your mom and burnt her alive in that truck….. Then I thanked that old man and came to my city….
